Prevost Harbor ~ Stuart Island; San Juan, WA

We arrived in Prevost Harbor after a day of spectacular down-wind sailing, which is really smooth and easy going. Prevost turned out to be a beautiful little nook to put down anchors, crab-pots and enjoy the calm water with breath-taking beauty. Crabs turned out to be too little for keepers but it was a fun experience and hilarious listening to the complaints of being “pinched” by the little buggers!

A morning hike past the school-house which was in-session that day with just 2 students, and onto Turn Point Light House for a picnic and we had a full day of exercise for our bodies and delights for our eyes. With each day, it just seemed to get better!

    “Hilarious”? “Pinched”? The little buggers were trying to take my thumb off! The “complaints” you heard were screams in a life-or-death struggle! :-{
